Chee Chan Golf Resort offers golfers the chance to play on one of the most beautiful modern courses in Asia. Located in the shadows of the famed Khao Chee Chan Buddha and providing views of the nearby resort city of Pattaya and the Gulf of Thailand, Chee Chan is as visually stunning as it is a golfing challenge.

The land and the surrounding environment are gently rolling hills and provide more of links experience than most other Pattaya golf courses. David Dale from Golf Plan has designed some excellent bunker work, with intricate design and facing. These areas are a highlight of the course.

The clubhouse is modern and functional without being overbearing. Full practice facilities include driving range, putting area and chipping green. Golf carts drive on the path at all times are mandatory. Chee Chan has an international feel to it with service levels rivaling 5-star golf facilities.

Hua Hin Golf Courses - Black Mountain Golf Club

Thai-Ger Line Golf organize daily and weekly golf packages for individuals and
weekly golf packages for golf club tournaments in Hua Hin & Cha-Am Thailand

black mountain1 black mountain2 black mountain3 black mountain4 black mountain5

Black Mountain was transformed from lush jungle and pineapple plantations and is located around 25 minutes west of Hua Hin. It is set in a valley surrounded by large black granite rock covered mountains.

The Hua Hin golf course was the site for Asian PGA tour events in 2009 and 2010 and the Europe versus Asia match play Royal Trophy in 2011. In 2012 Black Mountain was selected as one of the 100 best golf courses outside the USA by Golf Digest magazine. In 2014 Black Mountain hosted The Thailand Classic, the first European Tour event to be staged in Thailand. The Thailand Classic, held also in 2015 and 2016, is now a major fixture on the European and Asian Tours.

The golf course looks as natural as possible and maintains many original features. The most important of these are the small creeks that run throughout Black Mountain and the rocks that have been used as design elements on many of the holes. The original trees have been kept and many new ones have been planted. Meandering creeks with spillways for carts to pass over frame many of the holes.

Black Mountain is not only a test for the top professionals, but also very playable for the average golfer. The holes provide the golfer with a safe route, but for the more adventurous player there is a higher risk option with a potential greater reward. Black Mountain offers generous fairways for the shorter hitters that become narrower for longer tee shots. The greens are large with many pin positions that offer different degrees of difficulty. The holes are well protected by numerous white sand sculptured bunkers.

Seashore Paspalum grass was used for the tees, fairways and rough. This grass gives a wonderful playing surface and a beautiful emerald green color. Tifeagle Bermuda grass was used for the greens and this expensive hybrid grass yields fast and true year-round playing surfaces.

Some of Black Mountain’s best holes include the par-5, 6th. The peninsula green can be reached in 2 shots by aggressive long hitters, while casual golfers have a regulation path to the green requiring a 270 degree series of 3 shots around the tree and water fronting the green. Many birdies and a now and again eagle can be had here.

Immediately following, the 7th hole, a par-4, provides two realistic ways to play the hole. Those who can carry their drives 230 yards or more over water will be rewarded with an easy wedge to the green. Others, will need to 2 shots to skirt around the water, first left and then back right, making it almost impossible to par. Again, this hole is a good example of the risk & reward at each of the holes at Black Mountain.

Also impressive is the signature 11th hole, a par-3 over water to an island green. With no bail-out area and an all-water carry club selection is critical to achieve a dry landing and birdie chance. Otherwise, the generous drop area to the left of the green minimizes high scores and at least provides a good “wet bogey” opportunity for most Hua Hin golfers.

The views from the clubhouse are stunning, and give a 360-degree panoramic view of the whole golf course. The clubhouse facilities on offer include fine dining in the restaurant, one of Hua Hin’s most extensively stocked golf pro shops, excellent practice areas and driving range, luxurious locker rooms, and on-site spa.

Other attractions at Black Mountain include a fully catered golf resort with both villas and condominiums, general store for provisions, and family oriented waterpark. Black Mountain is European owned and managed which assures year round excellent standards, service, and great Hua Hin golf.

Hua Hin Golf Courses - Lake View Resort & Golf Club

Thai-Ger Line Golf organize daily and weekly golf packages for individuals and
weekly golf packages for golf club tournaments in Hua Hin & Cha-Am Thailand

lakeview1 lakeview2 lakeview3 lakeview4 lakeview5

The Lake View Resort & Golf Club offers 36 holes of golf in Hua Hin. The golf course is a favorite with both residents and visitors to the area and is situated a bit inland amongst small farms & fruit orchids on a large parkland parcel. For many golfers this is the most scenic and pleasant golf course in Hua Hin.

The Lake View original 18 hole A-B course features small streams and a large lake dividing the course in two. This, together with mature trees, blind shots to some greens, undulating fairways and several doglegs, tests the skills of the low handicapper. The long par 3, 14th hole is particularly tricky and features a tee box on a small island and the green at another island 210 yards away - all surrounded by water. There are a number of easy par holes making the course a balanced test of golf also for higher handicappers

The desert course (course C) is uniquely designed to be different in so many ways that each shot must be carefully planned. Mixing these nine holes with those from the main course provides most with an extremely fulfilling round of golf. The Lake View links course (course D) opened in late 2006, adding a further nine holes to the existing three courses. The course plays over a relatively open area with few trees between the holes, thus earning its links name.

The clubhouse at Lake View is basic and offers pleasant ambience and good cuisine. Spacious changing facilities, a grass driving range and short game practice areas are available for all golfers. The clubhouse also features a pool with golf course view and spa. An on-site 3-star golf resort is a popular option for golf groups from Asia and domestic tourists. However, it is located too far from town making it difficult for Hua Hin golf holidaymakers to enjoy any of the in-town Hua Hin restaurants and nightlife.
